CIP/ICU Planning Student Trust Fund (CIP-PSTF), Canada's national charity for the planning profession, is seeking volunteers to serve on either the Programming Committee or the Communications and Fundraising Committee. There are three volunteer positions open on each committee. Programming Committee The Programming Committee is responsible for overseeing the scholarship and bursary program, including reviewing and developing recommendations to the Board when amendments to the program are required. As such, this work may include, but is not limited to:
Reviewing feedback received from juries and applicants
Conducting needs assessments and criteria reviews
Developing policies and procedures related to the scholarship and bursary program, including jury management
Communications and Fundraising Committee The Communications and Fundraising Committee assists the Board in the planning, coordination, and implementation of fundraising activities in support of the projects and activities of CIP-PSTF. As such, the subcommittee will be responsible for:
Identifying and maintaining a list of existing and potential sponsors and funders
Assuming the lead for certain fundraising activities as agreed upon by the Board
Liaising with the CIP Conference Committee to coordinate fundraising opportunities for CIP-PSTF during the annual conference
