An eligible student may be awarded a maximum of one (1) scholarship only under the CIP-PSTF scholarship awards program over the course of their undergraduate and master’s level studies. An eligible student may be awarded a maximum of one (1) bursary per year under the CIP-PSTF program, with no limit to the number of bursaries an individual student may receive over the course of their undergraduate and master’s level studies.

An applicant only needs to submit one complete application for scholarships, and one complete application for bursaries, in order to be considered for all of the offerings for which they are eligible.

Receiving the Outstanding Graduating Student Award has no impact on eligibility for a scholarship or bursary.

No. As of 2024, scholarship and bursary applications are open for applications at different times of the year. Bursary applications open in the fall, and scholarship applications open in the winter.

Yes, you are able to apply as long as you have been officially accepted into an accredited Canadian planning program, and are able to supply any of the necessary information outlined in the eligibility guidelines.
